IMPLEMENTING WORK FLOW CONTROL FOR MAINTENANCE: A USER’S PERSPECTIVE

IN 2008, maintenance personnel commenced the implementation of a formal method for recording, planning and executing maintenance work at the Harwood mill and refinery. This is the third stage of a five-part program to formalise and improve maintenance processes at Harwood. This paper will: outline the serial development of the five-stage process; report on the experiences of the maintenance personnel involved in the implementation; demonstrate the results achieved; and briefly outline the next stages for development and implementation.
