IMPLEMENTING WORK FLOW CONTROL FOR MAINTENANCE: A USER’S PERSPECTIVE
By T PEPPERNELL; C HARVEY; S SCOTT
IN 2008, maintenance personnel commenced the implementation of a formal
method for recording, planning and executing maintenance work at the Harwood
mill and refinery. This is the third stage of a five-part program to formalise and
improve maintenance processes at Harwood. This paper will: outline the serial
development of the five-stage process; report on the experiences of the
maintenance personnel involved in the implementation; demonstrate the results
achieved; and briefly outline the next stages for development and
implementation.
