The ASSCT 2021 conference organising committee met recently to continue planning this years’ conference. Plans are very well developed to running the 2021 conference in Bundaberg over the period 20th to 23rd April. .

The trade display will be well attended by industry supply companies. The venue can safely hold the expected attendees, also abiding by Covid safe requirements. The venue has developed very effective Covid-safe plans. We have combined the papers from both years. The field trips are still under discussion, as these also need to be undertaken in a Covid-safe manner.

A newsletter will come out soon with more details.

The committee hope that the conference will be well attended for the benefit of everyone.

In recent months, the ASSCT website has been attacked by hackers. The attack did significantly slow-down responses from the website and it also made it impossible for the ASSCT to update the site. The ASSCT website has now been restored and we are once again able to update it. Unfortunately, it was impossible to restore all the recent news articles. However, it does appear as though the remainder of the materials are now again available for members.

Update 6/2/2021.  The restoration is still a work-in-progess - the restored website doesn't allow users to dowload papers or view abstracts.

The Members of the ASSCT executive are happy to announce the new dates for the 2020 Conference.

The new dates are Tuesday 20 April to Friday 23 April 2021 and will be held at the same venue, Bundaberg Multiplex Sports & Convention Centre, Bundaberg.

All of the work that has already been done in planning for the ASSCT Conference will be transferred to 2021, including the exhibition, sponsorship, registered delegates, peer reviewed papers and posters which will automatically be rolled over until then.
