Peter Guernieri Engineering Award -  Donated by SEW-Eurodrive - TAFE level 

Selection criteria
The award is to Best apprentice or Associate Diploma in Engineering Student in second or third year. Both apprenticeship in a sugar‐oriented engineering trade and participation in an Associate Diploma course are desirable but are not an essential element.

Selection made by
The Chairman of the Manufacturing Section, who has the prime responsibility of deciding on the basis of advice from staff engineers at the local Mills.

Timing
SEW‐Eurodrive provides the plaque/certificate, cheque and organises the trip. They require selection to be completed and the name of the nominated awardee provided to SEW-Eurodrive two weeks prior to Conference in order to allow time for engraving the presentation plaque and for advising the successful candidate.

Prize
An engraved plaque/certificate, cheque for $250 plus a funded trip to SEW’s works in Melbourne to experience the scope of the facilities are the components of this award which is all funded by SEW-Eurodrive. The award will be presented by an SEW representative.
