2019 PARTNERS' PROGRAM

A separate partners’ program has been arranged for partners who are not attending the Conference technical sessions.

The partner’s registration fee of $300 covers the cost of the Welcome Cocktail Function, the Conference Dinner and all events on the partners’ program. 

Tuesday 30 April:
The Partners Program will commence immediately following the Conference Opening and Official Addresses. We will depart from the Conference Venue and welcome you to Toowoomba with a cultural and historical bus tour of the city. This will include some of the main highlights of the city – some well-known homesteads, beautiful parks and gardens, of course a stop at iconic Picnic Point at the top of the Great Dividing Range. Following a lunch at a well-known ‘historical’ restaurant, we will visit a local art gallery and finish the day with a tour past Toowoomba’s impressive collection of street art murals by local and international artists. 
 
Wednesday 1 May:
This will be a full day of activities, as we plan to travel northwest from Toowoomba and explore, stroll through the beautiful grounds, have a morning tea and enjoy the gracious heritage of one of the earliest homesteads on the Darling Downs. We will then travel to and visit the famous Jondaryan Woolshed Museum, enjoy an Australian lunch at the Damper Hut. We will return in time for the ASSCT Happy Hour that will be held within the Industry Equipment Exhibition.  
 
Thursday 2 May:
Our final day will consist of a trip northwards to Crows Nest where we will visit a well-known and stunningly situated winery and enjoy some wine-tasting. We will continue on to one of the top restaurants in the region and, on the return trip, drop in at a grandfather and cuckoo clock centre.  We plan to arrive back early afternoon in time to relax prior to the Conference Dinner.
