Conference Registration

Bundaberg will be the venue for the 2021 Australian Society of Sugar Cane Technologists (ASSCT) Conference. Sugar week (including the ASSCT Conference) will run from Wednesday 21 April to Friday 23 April 2021 at the Bundaberg Multiplex Sports & Convention Centre (BMSCC), Bundaberg, Queensland.

The registration for: Full/Associate Members & Delegates of Supporting Members will be $350 but this increases to $390 for payments after 31 March 2021. Life Members registration is $280 increasing to $320 after 31 March 2021. Non-Members will be $400 increasing to $440 after 31 March 2021. On-site registration is available on Wednesday 21 April 2021 at the Bundaberg Multiplex Sports & Convention Centre. The registration fee provides entry to all Conference sessions, the Welcome Function and Conference Dinner, morning and afternoon teas and lunches on Wednesday and Thursday and morning tea on Friday for those attending the Manufacturing and Agricultural tours. The fee also covers bus transport for the Conference, tours & social functions.

The Welcome Function will be held at the BMSCC on Tuesday 20 April, which is the evening before the Opening Day of the Conference. This is included in your registration.

The Conference Dinner will be held on Thursday 22 April and will be held in the BMSCC. The Dinner will also include the Award Presentations. The Conference Dinner is included in your registration.

Please advise any special dietary requirements for the conference by 9th April

Buses will be available for delegates from designated pick-up points near certain motels/hotels. These motels are: Burnett Riverside Motel, 7 Quay Street, Bundaberg. Chalet Motor Inn, 242 Bourbong Street, Bundaberg. Sugar Country Motor Inn, 220 Bourbong Street, Bundaberg. This list of pick-up points is also available on the Conference Brochure and also on this website. Buses will travel to and from BMSCC on Tuesday (for the Welcome Function) to Friday morning of the conference. A bus schedule will be available closer to the conference. Please indicate if you require bus pick-up.

Covid restrictions may impact the planned tours and the agenda for both tours are yet to be finalized.The ASSCT website will be used to inform members of tour details.

A separate partners' program has been arranged for partners who are not attending the Conference technical sessions. Only complete this section if you are registering your partner for the partner's program.

One ticket for each of these functions is included in delegate's and partner's registration. Only complete this section if not registering to the conference or for partners' program.

Once registered, delegates no longer able to attend the Conference may be replaced by another delegate from the same organisation by notifying the Secretariat any time prior to the Conference. For non-attendance, refunds will be granted upon written request up to one week prior to the Conference; an administration fee of $20 will be deducted from the registration. All refunds will be paid after the Conference and generally take from 2 to 4 weeks. Without exception, there will be no refunds for requests made in the week prior to the Conference.

Payment by either Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Credit Card (Mastercard or Visa) is accepted. For EFT payments, instructions will be provided on how to make the funds transfer. (The funds transfer must be completed before the order is fully processed)
